No. Viruses are never contained to a particular area and many may become airborne. If there is
an outbreak of MRSA, Norovirus, or any other highly infectious virus/bacteria you should highly
consider treating the entire facility. For example; during an outbreak of Norovirus on a cruise
ship a passenger can be infected for up to 72-hours before showing signs of infection (vomiting,
diarrhea). During that incubation period, the virus can be spread to a much larger area. The CDC
requires that if more than 3% of the ship’s population report illness, then the entire vessel shall
How can I demonstrate that the sprayer did its job?
Test Data: Our research and development teams have spent the last 7 years testing and
verifying the effectiveness of our sprayer paired with various disinfectants and that test data is
available upon request.
Dye Test: Kits are available for you to conduct this simple demonstration where tape is
randomly placed around an area to be sprayed. The dye is then mixed with water and sprayed
over a target surface. Once spraying is complete, the tape is removed and a florescent light is
used to show the full coverage.⦁ Video
Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) Testing: An ATP meter can be used to quickly show the
reduction of ATP after the disinfectant application. The meter measures the presence of ATP,
energy, to prove that bacteria or viruses are present. Readings should be taken prior to
disinfection and then immediately after to show the reduction in ATP levels.
(Note: ATP readers are not the most accurate and can produce/exhibit high, false, readings if you
do not allow the disinfectant to completely dry before re-testing)
Laboratory Culture Testing: This type of test is more costly but can be an important t
est for hospitals. This requires a certified Lab that can sample and culture pre and post swabs of
Can I recharge the Battery?
No, the batteries are non-rechargeable. Each battery will last approximately 60 hours of
“Continuous” spray time. The average size room (300 sqft) will take around 2 minutes to spray.
Batteries are sold individually or in a 6 pack.
Are there any serviceable sections of the sprayer?
There are, and they are detailed within the User's Manual.
What is proper liquid filter maintenance?
Ideally, the ES-120 system should have clean water rinsed throughout and all liquid evacuated
after each use. The filter should then be removed, inspected for contaminants/debris that build up
on the exterior screen surface and rinsed with clean water. This will help prevent any residue
build up and/or remove anything mistakenly trafficked through the liquid system. This
maintenance also ensures the liquid delivery flow rate is consistent between uses.
